What Is The Nature Of A Real And Genuine Leader

A good leader can easily do what his followers or those he commands find hard to do, but each follower or those commanded by the leader specializes in each of all points that the leader is ideal at doing and makes the leader that leader. With that long sentence, I begin this article. Think of all the bad leaders we have had in the world, and think of their emphasis of title without doing a single thing they require of their followers well before you go on with this article. When a leader is good, the leader not only puts everything on the line, but the leader does whatever he expects of his individual followers or those under the supervision of that leader, only better,as an example to the followers or those in the command of the leader. Like the mayor of a major city fixing many actual potholes in the road right before his city workers finish the job well, a leader shows the way and makes the way to make things work. It is the accurate vision of the good leader that does what needs to be done through those in the command of the leader that makes leadership work.

To my way of thinking, leadership is not privilege, it is example and a genuine vision for all who follow that leader or pioneer. When I use the word pioneer, I mean pioneer in a genuine sense of understanding the nature of pioneering and leading by example and not by title. If I were a leader, I would do more than any of my followers are willing to do as an example, not to be their better or "superior." To be a person that genuinely leads is just this, an example, a powerful example that leads a genuine charge to evolve, not devolve.

Forcing people to follow takes too much construction after all then, does it not? I know so, because a good example is always more desirable when really rationally thought about.

As Harry Truman said, "The buck stops here." Anyone who genuinely plays the outer from yourself blame game cannot be a genuine leader by example. A fake leader for a while by force, maybe. But genuine leadership requires vision, and blame is not vision or cause, it is a disastrous effect that pretends to be a cause that is not at fault. So, being at cause is always the beginning of genuine power, leadership and authority.
